PRICES 

(Prices are meant to be ballpark figures only, within diverse size and composition ranges. Prices may vary at the discretion of the artist, relative to individual requests and degrees of difficulty)

  • A Single Head Shot; traditionally includes head, neck and shoulders with plain background (see: "Annie", "Jenna")  12" x 16"....... $400.00
  • A Single Head Shot With Additional Features, Traditional or Fantasy; Includes head, neck, upper body (see: "Child's Play") 16" x 20"....... $650.00
  • Single Full Body, Plain Background; (see: "Captured By The Dream")  18"x 24" ........ $800.00
  • Single Full Body With Additional Features (see: "Stepping Out",  "Do Not Disturb" "Natalie: Shelter From The Storm")  18"x 24" ....... $1200.00
  • Larger Paintings, over 18" x 24" (see: " Heather At Newport", "On The Rocks", "SpellCasters", "The Nutcracker") can run much higher in price.  Please speak with Kathleen as to request/price determination.
  • For every additional person, please add $200.00 to the above prices.

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

 

  • Kathleen works from photos.  Although some elements of the painting may be alterable: such as clothing, slight shifts in position, some colors and backgrounds; there can be no guess work with the face. Frontal views cannot become side views or visa versa; expressions cannot be changed.  Multiple shots are welcome for general reference purposes only. Please select one photo per individual to be used for the final portrait. 
  • Please send photos of highest quality, whenever possible.
  • In the initial process, client feedback is greatly appreciated.
  • Paintings are acrylic and can be completed on canvas or gesso board.
  • Framing and matting are best handled by professionals trained to help in that matter.  Framing and matting are not included in the price.
  • Shipping and handling are not included in the price.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due upon commission of the work. The final amount is due upon completion, before delivery.  Clients may view the portrait for approval, before final payment.
